Surroundings
The hotel for the blind is set beautifully admidst an
approximately 7,000 square metres large park-like areal with
a swimming pool. Guests can take a walk along the river
Mulde. Special places of interest are castles, manor-houses,
churches and townhalls of the neighbouring towns. Among
these is the Basilika Wechselburg which is considered
Germany's best preserved church of Romanesque style.
The House
24 beds, most of them in double rooms, equipped with a
wash-basin, telephone and radio. The hotel kitchen provides
for a varied and rich Saxon plane fare. The house has a
large braille and mainstream library. Tandems on loan. Guide
dogs are welcome.
