Spa Hotel and Centre for the Blind
Surrounding The rehabilitation centre for the blind is situated in the
district of Garmisch Partenkirchen, between the cities of
Bad Kohgrub and Oberammergau. The centres lies surrounded by
a lage park, admidst mountain greens, set in by the Ammer
mountains at a height of 900 m above sea level. Here around
Germany's highest mountain - the "Zugspitze" blind and
partially sighted guests of the hotel can find rest,
relaxation and recreation
The House The hotel has a total of 46 single rooms, 16 double and 2
three bed rooms. Most rooms have shower/toilet and a
balcony. Among the communal facilities which guest can fully
use are a TV room, a library with reading device, recorder,
typewriters, lounges and meeting rooms, ham station, skittle
alley and a playground for the young ones. Guest who want to
keep the good shape can use the heated indoor swimming pool
and work out in a gym where they found all fitness kit. The
hotel also has a balneotherapy department which offers
various medical treatments. Guide dogs for the blind are
welcome.
