Surroundings
Wernigerode is a town located in the Harz mountains, in the State of Saxon-Anhalt. Surrounded by the forests and mountains of the "Harz National Park" the small town offers to those who are fond of hiking a variety of destinations for tours all the year round. The recreational centre for the blind is located on the fringe of Wernigerode, only 5 minutes away from the town centre. It lies on a hill, very close to the edge of a forest. The house is surrounded by a park-like garden areal and has a terrace which guests can use for taking a sun-bath.

The House
Has 7 guest rooms: 2 three-bed rooms, a dining room and lounges. All rooms have a balcony and radio. Floor toilets and showers.Guide dogs are welcome.
If required guests can order a car to take them in to the city centre free of charge.
